I See the Light!!!!
Hear Ye, Hear Ye.... I am writing today to announce the latest major motion picture…. I give you “The Jetsons”!!!
This is how the idea of mine came about…
Well, today (January 5, 2004 at 12:30 am) Jeff left my house and so I of course start watching tv and going online… well as I’m talking to Alex, I’m flipping through station cause Encino Man ended (great movie by the way) and The Jetsons’ cartoon was on so I started watching it. That’s when I got my revelation…
Me (1:28:37 AM): hmm... random comment.... someone should make a live action movie about the jetsons.....
Me (1:28:45 AM):
Alex (1:28:49 AM): who would play george?
Me (1:28:59 AM): hmm..
Me (1:29:44 AM): i don't know.. but i would love to be the casting agent for it...
Me (1:30:02 AM): just think of all the celebrities u could meet
Alex (1:30:42 AM): are you watching the cartoon?
Me (1:30:53 AM): yes..
Me (1:30:57 AM): :-[
Alex (1:31:37 AM): its ok
Alex (1:31:40 AM): i still luff you
Me (1:32:03 AM): hehe yay!
Me (1:33:30 AM): think about it... a lot of hte other famous cartoons have been made into movies...
Me (1:34:01 AM): flintstones, teenage mutant ninja turtles, looney tunes.....
Alex (1:34:43 AM): yeh
Alex (1:34:45 AM): good point
Me (1:35:21 AM): they even made a cartoon movie where the flintstones and jetsons met... so why haven't the jetsones seen any love?
Alex (1:35:44 AM): itll happen
Me (1:35:47 AM): scooby doo was a talking dog.... well the jetsons has a talking dog too
Me (1:36:14 AM): the dog's name is astro
Me (1:36:16 AM): how cute!
Alex (1:36:45 AM): yeah totally
Alex (1:36:47 AM): i think itll happen
Me (1:37:23 AM): ok... which film studio should i write a letter to and recommend it?
Me (1:37:38 AM): what studio made the flintstones?
Me (1:38:08 AM): ooo mr. spacely is soooo danny devito!
Me (1:38:22 AM): short, fat, and knows how to yell
Alex (1:38:49 AM): yeah i can see that
Alex (1:38:50 AM): but hmm
Alex (1:38:53 AM): about the company..

Me (1:39:01 AM): maybe...

Yep… so, the major motion live-action film of The Jetsons is MY idea and it’s COPYRIGHTED as of right now… Sure, it won’t win any awards, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be a hit! And ever since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be a casting agent for movies. Seriously… you have to admit that would be an awesome job (but remember I call dibs on it) and here’s my choice (off the top of my head) of the cast of The Jetsons….
George Jetson - Jim Carrey
Jane Jetson - a cool lady
Judy Jetson - Hillary Duff (I hate her… but only because I’m jealous)
Elroy Jetson - Jake Lloyd (kid from Star Wars: Episode 1)
Mr. Spacely - Danny De Vito
Ok, ok, the cast needs work, but its hard thinking of names without seeing them. What do YOU think the case should be? To be continued….
