30 Day TV Show Meme - Part 24
Best quote isn't gonna happen. It's not something I can pick, being a quote-a-holic. However, when I think of "Good Quotes" I almost always think about Charmed somewhere in the top ten. Why? Because of the wit and amusement that comes with that series, even in dire situations, sometimes even in sad ones.
I honestly think that this is one of my favourite quotes from the entire series;
Penny "Grams" Halliwell: Don't tell me she marries a whitelighter too.
Piper Halliwell: Worse. A mortal.
Penny "Grams" Halliwell: Oh, good God. Didn't I teach you girls anything?
Piper Halliwell: Hey, what can I say? There's always Uncle Coop.
Now, I personally rooted for Piper and Leo all through their ups and downs, same with Paige and Phoebe with their guys, but I adored the way Grams could always be so set in her ways and so not, at the same time. I'm sure it'd be infuriating to live with that, heck, it is infuriating... but watching it on television is hilarious. Especially given the context, half the time. But, all in all, she really loved her girls and held nothing against who they loved. She just had quite an attitude and wit when accepting it~ xD
...and I'd use a Charmed icon for this series, but I can't find any good ones. :c
