artistic help please.

Artistic friends, I have an idea in my head that involves the need of someone a bit more artistic to give me a design that will translate to my construction paper well. Ya know how in "how to draw" books they have that point where all the parts of the body are rough shapes, just before you erase the excess and smooth it out then add the details... I pretty much need to see the design like that so my brain can comprehend how to make it work.

Now the specific thing I want is a "Velveteen Rabbit" (or similar simple plush toy). Little nubby limbs are adorable but I'm open to all ideas and designs.
