I have to go to court on Tuesday for an error that a State Trooper made when I got that ticket a few months ago. They checked "yes" in the "serious bodily injury to another" box on the ticket, when in fact there was no injury on either side. I'm not sure why I have to go to court over it, but I guess I and the other guy are just supposed to show up and say that neither of us was injured. The trooper is supposed to fax me the corrected ticket and a copy of the accident report, but I don't have either yet. If I don't get them in time, I hope that my and the other guy's word will be enough, or that the trooper shows up himself and clears the whole mess.
In much more pleasant news, my fiance and I are going to celebrate her birthday tomorrow. We're tentatively planning a picnic, which might get rained on, so we might just go out to lunch somewhere. We're also planning to go see "The Covenant". I've seen that it's got mixed reviews, but it looks cool to me, but some people don't realize when a movie is supposed to just be a mindless fantasy with cool special effects. Then on Sunday, her parents are taking us out for her birthday and doing the presents thing, so that'll be cool.
Speaking of gifts, I feel kind of bad that I didn't really have the money to get her anything extravagant, but she did already get a drum and is ordering a custom staff (well, she already ordered it, she just has to pay for it) that we are considering to be her gifts. And I plan on doing whatever I can to make tomorrow a special day for her.
