Hey all!
I came home today to see my family, and guess what??? They are not here. So I decided to check in on the internet world and see what was going on.
I have been through one week of work. It is not brain surgury but I am starting to get a hand at it. The sad thing is me getting a hand at it is better than what the ladies do that have been there forever. But as credit to them they have only been working with this system for about 2 years and they are not people that deal with change well, whereas I am coming in to the job liking computers and able to pick it up really easily.
I am really starting to work out my right hand. My day basically consists of moving a mouse to an entry field, typing numbers, moving the mouse again putting in more numbers then writing down the numbers that pop up on my screen. My left hand gets used when I type e-mails, but even then not much because what I send is a template and I mostly have to type in numbers. The only other thing is that sometimes if I press tab after I type in numbers I don't have to click as much.
My boss is very impressed that I can read my mousepad. On it is the directions how to do simple things like save and new without using the mouse. It was just something that I started doing and when she was watching me she was impressed that I was doing something that she didn't teach me.
On another note, I have gotten invoices that have had every problem known on them, and so now I supposedly know how to fix all problems... YEA RIGHT.
Ok so my dad returned home so I am going to go bug him about fishing or canoeing or maybe just breakfast.
