I've decided I'm going to try. The worst that can happen is I don't finish my Nano novel. Well, no, the worse is that I choose to do this over other things, and let things like chores get left undone.

I have no plot, nor really any idea what I'm going to write.

I think it will be realistic fiction, this year, in contrast to my long history of flirting with the realms of the fantastic.
