Personality:
Sasuke is generally a very laidback, nonchalant person, always remaining calm even when nonsensical events are happening right in front of him, such as Shingen punching Yukimura through a wall with a force that would normally kill a man (which Sasuke cooly remarks). Although there have been moments where he temporarily loses his cool; for example, when Yukimura insists on helping Motochika in the battle against Hideyoshi and his army, despite how powerful they were and the extremely small amount of men they had with them, Sasuke desperately tries to stop him, and fails. This also exemplifies the relationship between the two and how seriously he takes his job as Yukimura's advisor. Despite his laidback nature, Sasuke is very dedicated to his work, which doesn't only include keeping Yukimura in line, but also gathering intelligence and reporting back to Shingen, whom he respects deeply.

When Sasuke isn't collecting information or on the battlefield, he tends to show a more snarky, playful side, as opposed to his stoic nature when he's on the job. This is especially apparent when he's talking with Kasuga, a fellow ninja whom he has a friendly rivalry with. Although he usually manages to annoy her in some way, it's clear that they have a strong bond with each other. Other than messing with her, Sasuke often gives her advice and once gave her a whistle-like device, telling her to blow into it when she gets into trouble. When she used it, it turned out to be a glider that launched her right into the air. Kasuga was startled and irritated about the sudden launch, but it ultimately ended up saving her life. In addition, he is also shown teasing Yukimura about girls and when he is beaten by Masamune in a friendly battle, showing that they also get along on a personal level and not just on a boss-subordinate level.

Being from an era where the entire country is in chaos and everyone's trying to kill each other, Sasuke's main priority is making sure that he stays alive. He'll do whatever it takes to survive and doesn't concern himself with the safety of people he doesn't know. This is demonstrated when he goes with Yukimura to help Kojuro rescue some lower soldiers of the Date clan, but then gets caught in an explosion that was meant to kill off the soldiers. Sasuke managed to get out unharmed, but when it was later revealed that the others had survived the explosion after all, he admits that at the time he was only thinking of himself, but he also admits to feeling guilty about it. Thus, it is likely that his desire to survive is just out of necessity and not out of pure selfishness. Sasuke does, however, tend to be quite full of himself, getting a kick out of taunting and provoking others, and claims to be the best ninja around.

Overall, Sasuke is a pretty good guy who cares about his companions, even if his attitude sometimes suggests otherwise, and usually remains calm even in the worst situations. Despite his typical laidback and snarky nature, he can be serious and harsh when it really matters. It may also take him some time to get out of the whole war mindset, not really used to living in a world where everything is all fine and dandy, but once he adapts, he should do pretty well in Johto.

Samples
First Person Sample:
[Hello, Johto, have a nice shot of one very confused and clueless Sasuke.]

My, my. This is a strange device. Why is the light blinking now...?

[Nope, he sure has no idea that he's being recorded right now. Oh well, he's just going to take a look at the other features.]

Pokédex... Radio... None of this looks very helpful at all.

[He lets out a sigh, then pauses for a moment.]

Master Sanada better not do anything stupid while I'm gone. ...Wait, what am I saying, of course he will.

[He moves the PokéGear a little, and then an Aipom can be seen hanging upside down from a small tree behind Sasuke.]

Oh well, sitting here and fiddling with this thing isn't proving to be very useful. Let's go, Saru!

Pom!

[The Aipom's tail releases its grip from the tree branch and lands on Sasuke's shoulder, then reaching over to shut off the Gear's video function. You know you're technologically inept when even a Pokémon knows how to work a PokéGear better than you do.]

Third Person Sample:
Now that he knew that other people from his world showed up here as well, Sasuke was determined to catch up to the others as quickly as possible. While he normally would not be so eager to travel with them since back home they were technically enemies, he knew that things were different now. They were in a completely different world, and there were no longer any battles to fight or lands to be conquered. Everyone in Johto was in this together. He might as well stick with the group of people he was familiar with until he got more used to the place or found a more desirable group to go along with. Hopefully Master Sanada or Lord Takeda would show up soon.

As he made his way down Route 30 with his trusty Aipom on his shoulder, he was suddenly stopped by a young boy with a backwards baseball cap. "My Rattata is in the top percentage of Rattatas!" he exclaimed proudly.

"...Good for you, kid," Sasuke muttered, attempting to walk around the boy and move on, but sure enough, he sent out his supposedly top percentage Rattata for battle. Well, it looked like he didn't really have a choice now. Saru hopped down from his trainer's shoulder as he turned to face his opponent with a bored expression on his face. "Just use Sand-Attack for a little while." And the Aipom did so, using his tail to throw dirt in the Rattata's eyes each time it was his turn until the other Pokémon's accuracy couldn't get any lower. Much to the frustration of it and the other trainer, they had yet to land a single hit on the Aipom.

"Now keep using Scratch." And Saru did so until the opponent fainted. Still without any damage done to him at all. Naturally, the poor boy was devastated about the humiliating loss. "Noooo! But my Rattata is top percentage!" Saru ran back to his trainer and hopped up on his shoulder now that the battle was over. The both of them had cocky grins on their faces; they were like mirror images of each other.

"If that's really the best that Rattatas can do, they must be pretty lame!" he taunted, not feeling a single shred of guilt about causing the boy to look even more upset. Sasuke was feeling pretty awesome for winning his first trainer battle so quickly, and Saru was equally proud. "I'd suggest catching a stronger Pokémon, like my Aipom. He's in the top percentage of Aipoms." Well, he's caused the boy enough grief, and Sasuke really needed to get moving so he could catch up to the others as quickly as possible, so he just left it at that and walked off with a small wave without waiting for a response. There went a few minutes of his life that he would never get back.
