Everybody is doing it.

Well, I would say that everyone is back posting after a long away time, but that was probably only TheElf, and everyone else was still here the whole time. I kind of miss this place. I think I used it a couple of times to store private health updates, which I may try again. Nothing wrong with me, I just keep track of joint pain and seasonal eczema and stuff like that mainly because I want to find a way to stop it completely. And allergies. I went from taking Reactine 365 to now only taking it in the spring and summer... essentially. Last year I waited till the first frost and then stopped taking it, this year I haven't had an antihistamine regularly since August sometime I think. I only needed it to get through a bad day after visiting friends with pets.

Everything else is good. For those not in the know, I'm the father of a two year old now. My how time has gone by. Work is still good, same employer for 12 years. Lecturing part-time in addition to that. Which will help because we just bought a new house (our second) in Waterloo and we're waiting for a living room set to get delivered. Oh I have to call them and say "Where is my furniture?"

Just started looking at old-school text, based chat systems again. MUDS, MUSHs, and MUXs. Good times. The old talkers like Resort and Surfers are still up, but max users sits at around 7. One of the most popular these days is a role-playing MUX with approximately 500 users online at anytime. But boy, does that ever suck up a lot of time. Hard to believe I spent so much time on talk systems my early university days, but I never did spend THAT much time roleplaying. Some of those RPers are very particular.
