What does this mean?!
The post has just brought me a nice, though confusing letter, from the Patents place, sent from their head office. It says:
"Thank you for your recent application for the position of Patent Secretary.
As we have received such a large number of applications for this position we will only be able to reply to those candidates invited to interview.
In the meantime, thank you for the interest you have shown in this firm."
Is this a thanks-but-no-thanks? Are they still deciding? They said that they will only reply to interviewees, but they have sent me a letter.
ARGH!
**EDIT** - read it to Hubby over the phone. It's a holding letter sent out while they decide who to interview. I think that the closing date was around now. Seems I'm just paranoid! (Although this doesn't mean that they *aren't* out to feed me to the giant space lizards...)
