i'm not sure what to think about that administrative assistant position. they said they would call me the next day to set up testing... and they never did. and i called them. and they didn't call back... ok, whatever. on to the next thing, i guess.
i have to put the job thing on hold anyway because now i have to deal with moving, and that is no small task. i haven't started packing yet, but at least we have boxes now. tomorrow i'm working lunch only, so hopefully i can be productive when i get home... tomorrow's my last shift as a server, probably ever. yay :-)
my motherfucking brake light is working intermittently at best... i can deal with 100 degree heat and no a/c, even on job interviews. i can deal with having no dome light and no glove compartment light and a screwy clutch and a trunk that i can't open and close... but this brake light thing is really, really rubbing away the last of my patience. i probably wouldn't even care about this that much except that it makes it harder to dodge the cops... and my inspection didn't pass.
my post-graduation life just isn't heading where i was anticipating. it's a little discouraging.
today i went to cheapo discs after work and indulged in unplanned purchases. maybe there's something kind of liberating about buying unnecessary shit when you're $45,000 in the hole...
