Good news, everyone!

I saw my general practitioner yesterday. So far it seems as if I'm finally over the infection that's been dogging me, and now that my sugars have evened out, he's decided to wean me off the insulin injections. Slowly, but still, that's a good sign, I think.

Tonight, I'll be starting my generic Glucophage and I get to see how I do. I've been struggling with portion control at meals when it comes to meat and starches, which is the traditional thing, not to mention foods I love. I've been trying to avoid the corn and potatoes so much, and go for salads. The kids tend to be resistant, though they're getting better. Because really, green stuff? Ick.

WoWcrack raiding has been iffy. My guild tried Rotface again last night, and between failing to dance with slimes and a lack of DPS (our poor hunter REALLY needs to get above his 4300 GS), called it after a bit. We downed Festergut after only a single wipe, though.

I never thought it'd happen, but I'm really enjoying my holy paladin. Amazingly so.

I need to get back to writing: amidst all the studying I've been doing for my test Monday, I haven't wanted to look at words, or use much brainpower either. Hopefully that will change...unless I fail, which means I have to do it again. I hope I pass. :/

Anyway, that's life on this side of the computer screen.
