It is with much sadness that we say goodbye to the beloved matriarch of our family, Aunt Naomi - Known as Aunt Tootie to all that knew and loved her. She had a blood clot travel to her lung, and suffered a cardiac arrest after blood thinners were given. Though she was revived, there was no brain function detected, and she passed away peacefully yesterday afternoon. At least, we can be thankful that there was no sign of pain or discomfort.
To sum up what she meant to me would be impossible right now...Rather, I will simply borrow one of my favorite quotes...:
