Come join Lewis Mehl-Madrona, M.D., PhD, as he reveals his knowledge and medicine working with his lineage of Cherokee and Lakota heritage, working with the Medicine Wheel. Lewis Mehl-Madrona, M.D., Ph.D., is a scientist, shaman, hypnotherapist, and physician, geriatrician, psychiatrist and author of several books such as The Language of Healing; Hypnosis for Physical Illness, Coyote Medicine, Coyote Healings, Coyote Wisdom. He worked here in NYC, as a Program Director for the Center of Health & Healing of Beth Israel/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has studied and practiced the Medicine of his Ancestors for the past 25 years.

Dr. Lewis Mehl-Madrona, will share his wisdom as a Native American Healer, pioneering the blending of traditional Native Healing tradition with conventional allopathic medicine. Dr. Lewis Mehl-Madrona's wisdom and sharing in Native American tradition will create the sacred, magical, and richly informative experience accompanied with ceremony.

Learn about the Native American healing using the Ancient Medicine Wheel, and how it reflects on the ever changes in our life, and the energy around us. Understanding the importance of ritual and ceremony by practicing a the Medicine Wheel. How the symbol of the Medicine Wheel reflects all creation, representing the cycles of life, the seasons, day to night. How the movement around the perimeter of the Medicine Wheel symbolizes the individual journey we each must take to find our own path. Within the Medicine Wheel are the four cardinal directions and the four sacred colors, and the four races of man, the wheel also teaches us the four aspects of our nature, physical, mental, emotion, and spiritual. It is the wheel of the unknown dreams, and introspection. . Lewis Mehl-Madrona will guide us through the medicine wheel with storytelling, visualization, accompanied with meditation and journeying.
