(no subject)
So, every costume I come up with lately features a corset. Why is this? Is it because I am obsessed with the things? If everything comes together like I want I'll have 6 corsets/bodices by the end of summer.
Here are the costume ideas, input greatly appriciated:
The Black Sorceress:
You all know this one. The one with the black silk with the green beads. I have pretty much settled on what I want for this one. The silk is in the mail and I need to measure myself and buy boning for it. Then I need to get hold of coutil and stuff and a sewing machine. Miriam offered hers but since I am dealing with silk I think I want one I know, so this will wait until I am home.
Airship Mechanic: This is another one I am so looking forward to making, though I wont be making the corset here. I was planning on commision Ema for it, but I have yet to talk to her about it. I know it is a lot of money, but really I do not want to make it myself (leather and stuff) and I rather support a person I know, before going into the greater corset community. The rest of the outfit will be made by me, except for the obvious parts, like boots. I was however planning on using the boots for the black sorceress as well so if you find some cool black granma style boots...
The Druid/Shaman: This is something that have brewed for a long long time in my head, ever since I first became interested in corsetry and saw that picture. The idea is a slightly D&D style shaman. All I have planned so far is that corset and a staff with things(skulls, feathers and bones) dangling off it. I am not sure what else would be cool to go with this outfit, ideas?
