I got a message from a friend who I worked with back home just now telling me that one of my year 11 students passed away yesterday. He and his family were on holidays in Victoria last week when the minibus they were in crashed on the Great Ocean Road. Another woman died on the scene whilst the boy was in a coma; they turned off life support yesterday.

Apparently the kids at school were absolute wrecks today - I can't even imagine how difficult it must be for them to deal with. I don't even know what to think or how to feel right now.
