Every month at work, there is an opportunity to enter into a drawing to participate in the monthly "Breakfast with the Director." Lucky winners (roughly 8-10 people) get to have breakfast (a very healthy bagels and fruit) with the agency head and have the opportunity to pose a question. I had always believed that this contest was rigged, as I've been entering it for the past two years with no success. Yesterday, however, I received an email informing me that I had been selected - and I had to submit a question for the director for the hour-long discussion.
The following questions were considered, and summarily discarded (as was the idea of bringing in a box of Lucky Charms to eat instead):
"Did you really eat the deep fried peach pie that Roy Blunt gave you during the Wait Wait Don't Tell Me taping?"
"What kind of candy are you giving out for Halloween?"
"Who are you voting for on November 6?"
So, dear readers, what did I ask? I've already submitted my question, but I want to hear from you as to what you think it should have been.....
