Well well well...look what we have here...could it be a journal entry from Melissa? Yes, I believe it could!!
So, to update you all:
In exactly 2 months from today, I will be exploring Sydney, Australia!! WOOHOO!!! I cannot wait, let me tell you =)
In exactly 37 Days, I will be 21!!!! Watch out- Melissa will be partying that night!!! And BROOKLYN is coming!!! YAY!!
Okay, enough with the exclamation points...
Classes started on Tuesday and it looks like I'm going to be up to my eyeballs in work, but fortunately, I am really enjoying all of my classes, so it should be okay.
I'm looking forward to, but a little nervous about starting my Student Teaching. I dont yet know what school I'm going to be put in, or what grade I'm going to teach. What if I hate it? What if I'm really bad at it? I guess only time will tell.
Dance Company starts up on Monday, and let me tell you, its going to be a changed company. Mostly because I'm taking myself out of the backseat and I can assure you, I will be driving from now on. Things are going to be done much more efficiently and correctly. Everyone is meeting the same guidelines and playing by the same rules..get ready for this, its going to be a changed company!
I am thoroughly enjoying my premium single. Its not even so much that I have the whole room to myself, which is nice, dont get me wrong, but its more that I just have my own personal space. A space that isnt going to be invaded by anyone else. I can do my homework and sleep and just generally hang out and its great!! The girls and I have been getting along so well, we kind of all chill in my room cause right now, my TV is the only one with a cable cord. Johanna's cable cord mysteriously disapeared along with my VCR cable and one of my movies. Oh well, I'm sure they'll turn up eventually, or at least I hope so.
Work is great. I honestly LOVE working in Admissions. It is the best place to work on campus. The people there are fantastic, have great personalities and great senses of humor, and they're so down-to-earth. It's nice to be treated like an adult rather than some sort of juvenile delinquint. And the other students that work there - sooo great!! =)
I think Mother Nature has gone insane, because I'm pretty sure it has snowed every day since I've been here, which is just about 2 weeks now. Maybe not a lot, maybe there's been no accumilation, but there has been snow in the air. YUCK!! I am soooooooooo ready for summer.
Well, I think that's it for now, so I'll let you go and hopefully talk to you all soon!!
