Mortal Instruments and more
Haven't been updating my blog for a while now. I've just returned to my other first love...that is reading. I am currently into YA/Children's book, don't ask me why, it fascinates me. There's this whole other world that you are zapped into, makes you forget about the realities of life and of course it is such a joy to read. It's like my stress reliever, my balance nowadays. So, if I keep silent for a long while...I am buried reading.
Just finished reading, Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series. I was so engrossed that I finished all four books in 4 consecutive days...hahaha. That's my normal reading habit when a story gets me hooked. I found out eventually that the series is a total 6 books, so I am looking forward to the last two.
Will give you a more detailed summary/review/reaction to the books on my next entry. For now, I recommend her books Mortal Instruments (City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass and City of Fallen Angels) a must read if you are into urban legend type of stories (shadowhunters, vampires, nephilims among others). Also, the prequel is already out as well Infernal Devices (Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince and Clockwork Princess). The author gave pointers how to read her books, unfortunately for me...I read City of Fallen Angels first before reading Clockwork Angel, but its alright...I still have ample time to re-read the whole story again before City of Lost Souls release.
