Well, it's been officially announced that I am the Last Fiction Writer Standing.

How it was announced or how it came to be, I am choosing to ignore just for these next three minutes, because I  feel like I should get at least a few minutes of being able to feel a little bit happy about that.

If you feel the urge to smirk, snark or bitch, best to click the heck out, or at least keep it to yourself. I'm done caring.

-- I had to write something almost every week, which I did.
-- I wrote a number of different types of stories from the POV of DIFFERENT characters. Not just Tony. (Just wanted to throw that out there)
-- I had to write to prompts, which I've never been able to do that well before.
-- I did the competition by myself, and for myself, with nobody's input or help.
-- I won a couple of rounds and was Mod's Choice in another.

Do I wish it had ended differently, or been handled differently? Well, shit yes.

But I wouldn't take it back. I'm proud of my stories, and I'm sort of proud of myself. I never won anything before, and there were some excellent writers in the competition that made me stretch my boundaries a lot just to keep up with them.

So - and you'll have to pardon the self-love - yay me, I won!

Right. Three minutes are up.
