I'm starting to think this place has quite the sense of humor.

[Sup everyone, it's Wild Tiger here! Giving something of a chuckle, he's lowering his PokeDex to share with everyone just what he's talking about. That is a cranky purple Nidoran still casting sour looks everywhere, and then... there is the moe-est Pidgey one has ever seen. The bird ( Read more... )

[Eee! That's so adorable! Sisuca loves it. She's actually a little disappointed when the camera focuses on the trainer, but she'll just not say that.]

Oh, your Pokemon are so cute! They're really fun to have around, aren't they?

[Says the woman sitting on a rather large Kingler.]

Yeah, they are-- [Jesus christ, ma'am, you have CRAABS. Don't mind if he kind of stares at that big Kingler now.]

Wow. That's a big one.

Huh? Oh, you mean Champagne? Isn't he just precious?

[She moves off of him so that he can have a close-up. Without Sisuca touching him, though, he starts to snap and thrash.]

He's got a lot of energy.

[And as soon as she places a hand on him, he stops moving, the fear of death in his eyes.]

Oh, but you're a hero, Mr. Tiger? That's really cool!

[.......................... Yeah, he has a feeling he doesn't want to wind up like that Kingler. Best behavior forever and she doesn't look much older than Blue Rose.]

It sure looks that way.. [He can't help a smile at that, giving a thumbs up.] Yep! I may be without my usual powers here, but I definitely want to still help where I can.

[It's probably a good thing she forgot about her goal of making Kingler her go-to ride Pokemon.]

That's great! I don't have any of my powers here, either, but I like to help out when I get the chance. My son is a hero, too.

[I feel for you, Kingler bro. I would brofist you through the screen but then your trainer will question it.]

That's great to hear -- [WAIT, WHAT. AGAIN, LOOKS NOT MUCH OLDER THAN BLUE ROSE. WHO IS LIKE........ SIXTEEN.] Your.... your son? [Sorry, he looks a little surprised here.]

[Sisuca nods, her smile getting wider. Oh, she does love talking about Sieg.] Yes, my son! He's at home leading an army right now, but I think he'd like Johto a lot, too. He's always wanted to travel to another world.

Wow, leading an army... that's mighty impressive! [This woman is an excellent masker of age. That's all he can think.]

This place sure beats a battlefield, that's for sure.

Isn't it, though? Mama's so proud of him.

It does! I'm having lots of fun. What kind of hero are you, though?

That's definitely something to be proud of.

What kind? I guess I'd classify as simply a "super" one. My powers would increase my strength and speed by 100 times that of a normal person.

100 times...that's so impressive! Back home, I had powers, too, that I used to help the army...like controlling fire and healing wounds.

What do you use all of that power for? Rescuing people?

-- You have powers as well? Healing powers is definitely something I haven't heard of before... that's amazing!

Yep! Rescuing people and keeping them safe, it's the only reason I ever use my powers.

They're called the Marks of the Stars! They're really useful.

That's so admirable! I usually use mine when I'm fighting monsters or other soldiers...that's kind of like protecting people.

It sure sounds it!

It is, since you're protecting them by defeating the monsters and other soldiers, right?

Right! One day, the army came to force its ways onto our village...ever since then, I've been fighting for the day when our village doesn't have to worry about them anymore. And to protect my children, of course.

You don't want to hear about all of that, though! Johto is a lot more easygoing.

I don't mind listening about it, it's nice to hear that someone is so devoted to protecting their home. I'm sorry to hear that an army forced its way in though.
