Life Is Tough
John Shepard died on Saturday night...his funeral was today. I went to the visitation and funeral. I wasn't surprised to see as many people show up that did. John touched so many people's lives. He was a friend to so many people. Thats the worst of it. That he had so many that would have been there for him, and yet he couldn't tell anyone how he felt that night.
What else is there to say? I'll miss him I know that. No more random meetings or hugs or poke battles or anything. I've been sad all day. I hope things will get better..especially for his family. Life will move on easier for me since I wasn't that close. But for them...I hope they can make it through being there for each other.
John, I don't know why this happened. But I do know that whatever it was can't bother you now. All the problems you suffered through are over and I hope that wherever you are, you are with your mom. Your still making us smile with all the memories we have of you. We'll never forget you.
