Famousness of NC
So as a lot of people know, LL Cool J used to live in our neighborhood in NC... well guess what I found out yesterday?...
Our neighbor a couple of houses down is the coach of the Charlotte Bobcats... In the next neighborhood over is the NASCAAR lady whose husband and twin daughters died I think last month in a plane crash... And in the neighborhood next to us on the other side is Fantasia from American Idol...
Yesterday I met 3 of the Hornets (now in New Orleans... they used to be the Charlotte Hornets for those who don't follow basketball) in the local coffee shop... They were really nice. Of course, I didn't realize they were the hornets... one of them was like "Hhheeeyyyy girl, how are yooouu doing?" when I went to throw my napkin away which is how the meeting was initiated... Then, after we left (my mom and I) we saw a 4th really tall guy in warm-up looking gear running across the road so I yelled "Hey, are you from the Hornets?" and he goes "Uh... yeah!" so that's how I found out.. hehe... Darn it! If I'd known before I would've tried to impress them... try to get a hot, super-tall basketball player boyfriend... haha... But sad for them, they lost to the Bobcats last night by 1 point... I'd like to claim they were distracted by a sexy red-head in their minds.. but that'd be a lie and a half! hehe...
I'm kinda interested if I have any other famous people living around here... A couple of months ago there was a big movie crew shooting a movie in the backyard of a family a couple of blocks away... It's weird! And it's really sad, too because when I think about it, because we live around rich people it might sound like we have a huge awesome house... Too bad though, because compared to our neighbors, our house looks like a little shack... SAD!
