Updating.... Finally
Well, I guess I fell right back into my old method of posting. I really planned on trying to keep my efforts of New Mexico but I fell off the horse. I think I will try from now on to post at least once a week or so.
I work at Skarshaug Testing Lab and just do shipping. It is a stressful job simply because of a problematic superior. She doesn't have any real rank but she is suppose to be our team leader. Her personality and mine are constantly clashing. Days like today are rare in that she didn't yell. Most days she finds some little thing to yell at either myself or the other shipper about. Often her reasons are simply her preference. It never ceases to amaze me how easily she find a reason.
I have gotten more training outside of shipping tho. Because part of our job is replacements, I have learned to label the gloves and sleeves so that one major job is covered without relying upon the single glove tester who deals with them. It has spend our response time significantly and I am beginning to have more free time again. Hopefully that will lead to another task and more to do.
In gaming news, the Star Wars role play I came back to has folded. Two of the players up and left and my brother (the joy that he is) decided that table top games are not for him. Right now, I have been without a rpg for over a month. Within the next couple weeks, there is suppose to be a Shadowrun game starting up. I will probably re-make Kaigen in that system and have a lot of fun as a PC.
The brass group at church has also begun to move up in level. I brought in a new piece we played for a Wednesday service a couple of weeks ago. Everybody loved it and it was really a step above what we have been playing. I also introduced another piece which should push the group even further.
In a bit of bitter news... my computer picked up a bad case of Spyware over a month ago. I spent all of the time since ignoring it and trying to work around it. This week, I finally got fed up with it and took it into a good repair shop in the area. They are going to reformat the hardrive and clean it up. It should work good as new.
