MOVING TO DREAMWIDTH!
This is sad, but I think it's best if I start using Dreamwidth as my main journal. LiveJournal is possibly going to be blocked in most of the world, if not taken down completely. Automatic import to DW is not possible at the moment, but if you have an LJ account you care about there are programs that can help you archive your content. I found this information on SimSecret, because I'm a weasel and still go there to see who's been offending who this week:
The program is HTTrack. I'm actually thinking about posting a short tutorial of how to use it on my tumblr. It's pretty easy to use but it can be finicky. Just make sure that when you use it you "ignore robot.txt" and grab files other than just HTML (Photos, zip files, etc)
Also, make sure to use "server tolerant" settings if you're scraping LiveJournal or it will IP ban you before you can get very far.
