Autumn trees
On Wed morning Rich came round to pick up his jumper that he had leant me to go home in post clubbing one sunday as I had forgotton to bringa coat with me and an dress that is good to go clubbing in is soetimes verymuch shorter than you want to be wearing sunday afternoon going home and dealing with jo public :S We had a coffee and a chat for a bit before he headed off cause he was feeling productive and had stuff to do.
In the eve I went round to technobunny's house last night for our weekly dinner and manga session. It was my turn to cook. I did fillet of rainbow trout pan fried in butter with gnochi, turkish carrotts, runner beans and bacon bits, drizled with tomato infused olive oil. All was going well till it was time for me to go home. I couldn't find mt house keys :/ I walked back home hopeing that one of my housemates would be awake enough to let me in when I got there as it wasn't that late. Unfortunatly none of them were and all their phones were switched to answerphone only. Not much use to me! I ended up going back to technobunny's place and staying the night there. I had a really bad nights sleep. I couldn't manage to drop off till about 5am and given that alarmclocks started to go off at sevenish, it meant that I didn't actually get much sleep :(
Luckily when I got home Sali was there to let me in and it turned out that I had left my keys in my bedroom door when I went out, so at least I hadn't lost them. I had enough time to change cloths and have a cup of tea before fuzzy_llogik came round to pick me up as we had planned to go take some photos of the trees changing colour. Its been odd this seaon. Even though it is well into Oct most of the leaves are still fairly green. Autumn is coming late this year it would seem.
We stopped off at a farm shop before we hit the trees and got ourselves a handmade pork pie to keep us going and then headed off into the deep dark woods to take some autumnal photos : ) Although I got a few nice shots I think I'm going to run them through photoshop to enhance the autumn colours a bit :P
We were stood looking at some sheep when we saw a weasle running after a rabbit. We watched the chase as they dashed back anf forth over the field. At one point we thought the weasle had caught the rabbitt. It was certainly making squeeling noises but a moment later the weasle trotted off with an empty mout so it must have got away.
It was a lovely day to be walking in the woods. Calm and warm with just a hint of a breeze and glorious autumnal blue skies. On out way back we stopped off for a quick drink at a very out of the way pub called the new inn. We stopped off at tescos and were soon back at my place. We had a cup of coffee and watched the guinipigs and played with the rabbit for a bit before fuzzy_llogik went home.
I am currently filling in the shakespeare request banners from fluidic_icons. I have a feeling that I will be heartley sick of the sight of them by the time I am finished :P
