The fog was decidedly sinister, and not just because of the way it smelled. Something about it made his stomach wrap around his spine in instinctive alarm. Something that screamed, this is wrong, this is dangerous. Looking around at the terse faces of the others, he knew he wasn’t the only one who felt that way.
