Fan Exchange: Yuri for chalkpowder
First off, I'd like to say that I am absolutely floored by how talented everyone in this community is. This is just about my first time de-lurking, so hi! Please be kind to me!
The prompt: I'd like a picture of Yuri Petrov. Gratuitous prettiness would be great, extra credit points for eyelashes.
Well, first,
I'm not really sure why this prompt screamed "Princess Yuri" at me, but it did, so I sketched this at a friend's house and then couldn't stop fiddling with it in horrified fascination.
But then I figured that chalkpowder probably wanted something that wasn't quite so ridiculous/mildly frightening, so I needed to try again.
I broke out the watercolors for the first time in a few years for this, so I was really rusty starting out, heh. Also, THAT COSTUME. I had about ten tabs open with reference pictures, and I still had to redraw it a few times. It was a lot of fun drawing Yuri, though.
At any rate, I hope you like one of these two, at least!
