Been a while
Almost a month to be exact. So much has been going on I don't even know where to begin. Changed the layout, colors and emotes here. I'm kind of pleased with it.
We found another house that we are going to rent. It will be ready to move into on the first. It's quite a bit smaller than the one we are in now. Cozy I think is the word for it. Hardwood floors....nice. :) So I have been doing quite a bit of packing. Not as much as I should have been doing, but *shrugs*
Angyl and I both got hit with that Blaster virus AND had a hacker!! You know, people like this should be drawn and quartered. Because my computer had to go in a few months ago, and had to have the hard drive switched out and ghosted, I had to take the computer to the doctor and he had to reformat it. Stupid HP...lol. So it cost another $100+. I know it sounds like it but I'm not complaining. This computer guy is the closest thing to a god that a human can be. He did explain a few things....Windows XP (at least) does have a firewall but it's bot very reliable. He said that people don't realize that until something like this happens. He's even had big companies find that out the hard way. He also said that, even though the Microsoft web page said that all you have to do is download the patch and it will "close the backdoor" the hackers get in through (he did say that sometimes they can even get around the firewalls), the hacker already had my info, so I had to reformat to move the info around so the hacker would have needed to "re-hack" so to speak. I needed to do that, also because I couldn't stay on long enough to download the firewall or the patch. I kept getting booted (computer restarting) and comp doc said it sounded like the hacker was accessing my comp and kicking me off. He said that he went to fix one at a church and the hacker ended up putting.....questionable pics on the comp!!
And last but certainly not least....Distant Host is down....so Townsquare is down. Has been for almost a day and a half now. I am working on some graphics for Silver Eternity for Halloween. So when DH goes back up, Angyl will be working on a new layout. It's going to be worth checking out, I can assure you that!!
