Day One
We killed a black widow spider in our living room last night. That's too close for my comfort. I can usually deal with spiders, but black widows and brown recluse really scare me.
I had a bad dream last night. Angyl left me. So I woke up and just stared at her. I watched her sleep for about 10 minutes before she opened her eyes.
Then we get up this morning and find out that we can't get online because AOL couldn't put the charge on the phone bill that we set up 2 months ago. So Angyl was on the phone with AOL for about 20 minutes getting all of this figured out. It looks like we have a free month cause we don't have enough money in the checking account to pay for it today...
Aaarrrgh today is starting of great. Can you hear the sarcasm??
Ok..So the day has shifted a little. Roomie got her income tax return today. She did the Turbo Tax as soon as she got the info, that's why it came so quick. ;) I recommend everyone who can do their taxes that way...do it! Or online. It's so easy. Anyhow...I also got my Puzzle Master 4 game in the mail. Not to mention, Angyl won her ebay bid last night so by the end of the week we should have Might and Magics 6, 7, and 8. So things have changed a bit.
Everyone's going to get tired of hearing me complain. Everyone's going to think that's all I do...lol. Anyhow..the day has taken a turn..again. Roomie was late (3 hours) coming home from one of her jobs. Well, let me go into the short of the long story. She has two jobs. During the day she works at a day care. At night she works at the local gas station. Both are within walking distance. Anyhow..the other night she had to call her boss to find out what to do about the kids hanging out behind the station. The boss's husband said it sounds like they are doing drug deals back there and he came out to tell them to leave. Anyhow..they most likely know it was her. I know how drug deals can turn out. So we are sitting here worried sick thinking perhaps she ran into them again.
She comes home and because we were worried for 3 hours, Angyl kind of snaps...but do you blame her?? Anyhow...Angyl doesn't get attitude, but when I calmly say "It doesn't take you a half hour to walk home." I get the attitude. So here I am sitting...once again...feeling like I "shouldn't be here." *sigh* Ok. I'm done with my complaining.
We went grocery shopping. Fun fun. Nothing much happened...lol. I did get a batman watch. That was about the most exciting thing that happened today.
Exorcist: The Beginning comes out tomorrow and we have it reserved. So we will be watching Cube: Zero tomorrow; returning it and renting Exorcist:The Beginning. I think that's it for today's...lol
