Good Deed??
It's only 9:40 and I have already had an exciting/interesting/out of the ordinary morning...lol. We were outside having a smoke (no we haven't quit yet, but we aren't smoking near as much). Anyway...we have three outside cats over here and the kittens just started to warm up to us. One of them decided to climb up a tree, which I know cats do...lol. She then decided to climb out onto a thinner branch when she slipped and started to fall. Well I ran over and am holding my hands underneath her while she struggles to stay on the tree. I know that she would have survived falling from there, but she may have staggered away with a broken leg or two and, though I know she's an outside cat and very prone to that, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I didn't do something to prevent any injury if I could.
So anyway, I told Roomie to go get a blanket...lol...can you see where I am going?? lol So here I am standing underneath this kitten hands cupped ready to catch her and the church goers are arriving across the street for the morning service (yes we live across the street from a church). Then roomie comes out with this big blue blanket and we no sooner get it stretched out when the kitten falls smack in the middle of it. I don't think she was expecting to fall in the blanket cause she started freaking and so we set the blanket down and she tears ass off. It was actually pretty cool.
