"And a moment is all you can really expect from perfection."

I've decided, very logically, that I do not believe in fate.  Because I don't think that any kind of higher power would fate us into the bad things in life, it makes more sense to believe that sometimes things just happen.  And it would be hypocritical to believe in good fate, but not bad fate.

And honestly, it's far simpler to believe that.  Because saying there is such a thing as fate is to assert that there is a definite, universal good and bad.  And I don't think that's true.  Things die, things are killed, terrible tragedies happen to human and animal every day.  If there is a universal right and wrong, who's head is all that on?  If there was a God micromanaging our lives, he would be a murderer, and I would not worship him.  That's just being a bully.

I believe that there is no right or wrong except what we humans have made of it.  It is an entirely abstract concept, like God, like calculus.  While all of these may have their manifestations, I do not believe that any of these things are inherent to the universe objective of humanity.  They're like language; you can't deny its reality in context, but you have to admit that its entirely dependant on your existance and your understanding.

I'm being really thoughtful and vocal about it lately...  It's kinda cool, I'm getting some really nice bits of writing out of this mood.
