Prom is today!!
I know it's probably going to come back and bite me in the ass later, but I have been way too excited to eat all day. I had to make myself eat some fruit for lunch, because with my fainting spells and all, I'm trying to defeat the rumor of me being anorexic. Like I could ever pass as an anorexic...

Anyway, yes, prom was gorgeous, and so fun. We had it at our gorgeous school, the music was so much better than last year, my date was awesome, and I did not have to rely on anyone's charity to get there. It was far less awkward than last year, and we actually had a good DJ instead of some random band. Which I find kind of funny, because they spent about twice the money on throwing prom last year, but ours was so much prettier.
Sorry to rant. But it was great. Actually, it was kinda funny; the prom ended about a half-hour early... People had been trickling out, but there were still enough people to call it alive, but then the DJ ended a great string of funk music with that stupid, overplayed Shakira song... and intstantly, the whole dance floor emptied. People just walked out, there had to be thirty people and they all decided simultaneously to leave. I felt a little bad for the DJ, I don't think he quite realized until then that we're a bunch of white kids, and don't dig that kind of stuff.
