Jim and ME, not Jim and I would be the proper usage for what you are trying to say. also, My and Ric's arty shot, not Ric and I's. the attempt at proper grammar is duely noted and worthwhile. but it's not quite there. If there is a question, take out the other person's name, and see how it sounds only with the first person. "I, as a happy homemaker," or "I's arty shot" doesn't make a lot of sense, eh? you'll get it though.

Hey smartass. The attempt at sounding suave and intelligent is duely noted, but it's not quite there. If there is a question, try finding something better to do with your time than playing teacher to make someone else look dumb.
By the way. . . If smartass is supposed to be hyphenated, don't bother telling me. I really couldn't give a fuck.

wow, the responses to my little lesson are quite hilarious. however, may i apologize for the apparent embarassment that ensued? if i really wanted to make you look stupid i would have been much more crass, or picked one of the many superficial things you hate about yourself to pick on you about. i just thought you might like to know a few pointers so you don't make the same mistakes in front of someone that won't be near as polite as i was.
and for your anonymous friend who jumped to your defense: i applaud your loyalty, but may i suggest asking your doctor about paxil? it'll clear that anger right up. cheers.
