Work Work Work

So I have this employee (Starbucks calls Partners) at work, who is a great and wonderful person, but drives me crazy with her views of herself. She is a hard worker, at times, and tries very hard, at times, and always looks out for others, at times. Get my drift so far. She is very young and doesn't understand the full concept of climbing up the corporate rungs. She thinks that just because she started a week before someone else that it automatically entitles her for a promotion over another person, even though that other person has management experience and a degree in management, but we should through that out and put the less experienced partner in there to manage people. Lets not forget that this "at times" person also has a hard time staying in dress code, has a tendency to be sick, and has emotional outbursts on the floor, but you know in this world of generation "Y" they think that they are entitles the moon with out putting forth any effort.

Okay onto my next , usually when at work and you make a mess or break something, you (most people) would clean up the mess entirely, no not today, someone broke a shot glass and pull out the refrigerator, so when I pulled it out I cut my hand (it's not a bad cut, but it bleed a lot!). So now I have to have everyone sign a safety and security form. I really hate this paper crap, I wish people would just do their job so I don't have to work more. I already work enough as it is. Sometimes I wish that my baristas would walk in my shoes for one day and see what I really do, besides make coffee.

Okay enough ranting about work, I need to finish my homework so I can spend the max amount of time with my sweetie. Miss him lots and lots. ;)
