Writing and Reading (and some other stuff)
NaNoWriMo starts officially today, and I'm...participating. I can't believe I'm saying that because I have zero time, but how can I expect to hone my craft if I don't actually work on it? I just pray algebra won't kick my behind and make me drop out early. However, I feel like I'll never know unless I try, right? That's what it's all about.
I bought two books last night while adveturing in my Addison-esque costume at the mall. I wish I could say I had pictures, but the camera failed. :(. Anyway, I bought The Lovely Bones, because I suck and have not read it yet for some reason. And I also bought....well, I don't remember the name, but it was a compilation of different romance stories mixed with mystery. I dunno. That one was only like four dollars and it sounded interested at the time. Also...I still have a list of books (well, a pile really) waiting to be read so I really don't know why I bought them, but I am beginning to think I am physically incapable of walking into a bookstore and not buying something. I look on the shelf and I'm like "Ooh...that's only gonna be a few bucks because of the discount as well as my group membership rate." It needs to stop I know, but I really can't help it.
Also...ZOMG it is NOVEMBER. I cannot believe how fast this semester has flown. With that AND NaNoWriMo, I would like to apologize in advance to anyone I might inadvertantly bite the head off of in the coming weeks. I promise, if I do, it's out of love. :)
