(no subject)
This weekend was very nice. It was great seeing Jodie again and I can't wait till I get to see her next. So lets see. Friday was great and bad at the same time. I got up early (bad) and went to the Nordstrom sale (GREAT). I got a lot of cute shirts and a few pants. I was very disappointed with the pant/skirt selection but oh well I did get some good ones. Then I went home and cleaned the hardwood floors (bad) and then went into work (ok). I got there and I did the orientation and at the end of it I got a eye ache because I hadn't eaten anything but a bagel (at 10:00 and it was 3:30). Well I scarfed down a sandwich and the next thing I know (well about an hour later) I was upstairs in the bathroom sick(bad). I don't know if it was a shock to the system for the food or if the food was bad (could be a possibility- the meat use by date was 2 days before). So I barely got home and layed down. Good thing Jodie and Kenny got stuck in traffic (bad and good). I was able to rest for an hour until they got in town (good) and then I got them and went to dinner with my parents (good). After that we went to Randal's apartment for a half hour and then went back to their hotel were we had a few beers (good). I ended up staying over because it was late and then I got up and left as they were getting ready for the wedding. The day was a back and forth between good and bad but it all was good in the end. Saturday I went to a baseball game and the pool. Then after that I went to dinner with a big group of people from LU: Jodie, Kenny, Putterman, Locke, AJ, Julia (and her boyfriend but I don't know his name), Kabrel (sp) and his fiance. It was a good time with a lot of food and wine. After that we went to Julia's dads house and had a good evening there. Yesterday I got up and went to breakfast with Jodie and then they left and I went home and took Will to church, then went to the pool, and then after that I started Harry Potter. Well I started it on Saturday but I only ready 12 pages. It was a good weekend overall! Ok time to go to the credit union to see how much they would loan me for a car (long story short: Nicci will need a car next year and the parents are going to give her the green machine so I have to get one). I have mixed feelings about it but oh well, I will survive. At least I could say that I own something of value...
