A really good day
Yesterday was a really really good day. It started off with my office hours in the young life office where i recieved two replies to my letter :) Then i headed to my spanish speaking exam which i think i got a B on b/c i did all the talking and he even said that to the other girl and i made jokes and he laughed. Then i kicked it in my dorm until Maura found her phone (lol) and she came over and we went to the bad walmart and then to the movies. We saw Marie Antoinette (probably spelled it wrong) it was a lot of fun. It felt just like it always did when we go to movies except when we came out we were in greensboro. I talked to much and she mostly ignored me...its what the smart people learn to do. Then as i was going back to campus to drop her off i almost got a new car b/c some snotty jerk almost totalled my car and he was in a really nice car and he was righting on red so it would of been his fault. But i hit my breaks so no one got hurt and i dropped maura off and went over to becca's. John (her bf) was already there so we stood outside talking and joking and then becca got there and we left for the game. The game was good...we didn't stay the whole time but i got to see a lot of girls and then on the way back we got t.bell. Dave met us at becca's and the 4 of us played MONOPOLY HERE AND NOW.. only the best game ever, even though i lost. It was really fun, i felt like we were 2 married couples lol. But it was good to have dave hang out with my friends b/c i knew they would like him especially becca and john b/c they are really funny too and dave and john are a lot alike. Well after dave lost all his assets we called it quits and left the game there for them to finish and called it night. Today i have to work from 1-5 or 6 hopefully 5.
OMG and greensboro has been hoppin lately...the president was here wednesday and flava flava was here yesterday and today for a&t's football game and then dave set up a fundraiser banquet thing that oprah and maya angelo were going to be at...like 2000/ plate. Told you this city was hoppin'!!
Off to get ready for work..hopefully the rest of the weekend will be as good as yesterday!!
