Aaaaaaarrrrrrgh. I do NOT like poetry. Especially writing it. Especially for AP English.
"Write a symbol poem choosing some aspect of nature to represent an emotion, a human trait, or a global issue."
I want to express how weather is a lot like life. It has it's beautiful times, and it's destructive times, and both are inevitable. But I can't get the words formed poetically. I even have some of the symbolism worked out in my mind. Like, how the wind will push the clouds away to let the sun shine through. The clouds would be the bad times, the wind pushing the clouds aside could be friends, loved ones, or whatnot that helps you to deal with and even rid of the bad, and the sunshine would obviously be the happy times. But I can't put it into words.
