Top ten things I <3 <3 <3
Valentine’s day, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways… but I’m stopping at 10, because then I need to get back to reading over my feedback group’s comments on FLASH.

2 - Husband. Again predictable but how can you not adore someone who comes up with songs about the children that start "Who puts foot prints in the cheese?" Love that British humor even though I don't always understand it.
3- Weasel. My beloved cat passed away almost nine years ago but what a soul mate. My husband completely understands I would have married Weasel if it hadn't been for that whole pesky against the law thing.
4 - All other pets. We have too many but they just keep showing up.
5 - Writing. When I haven't for too long my family tells me to go and write. They see the frustrated gleam in my eye as well as the random words on my lips. And never forget the hammer in the fridge.
6 - Reading, including audio books. I love being told stories and retain far too many useless facts. Such as why the British drive on the left and we drive on the right. And Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell kept me on the Elliptical for hours since it was the only place I would allow myself to read it.
7 - Adult conversation. This will calm down once everyone gets over their colds and once again I get to venture into society.
8 - Family. I am fortunate to actually get along with my parents, sister, mother in law and cousins.
9 -Walking in the woods with my dog Asta. Yup, one of my prime joys in life.
10 - A curious mind. This includes the rest of my life. Friends whom I listen to, the writers workshop I look forward to, traveling, the epiphanies I have in the deli line, all of it.
