I've been itchin for a few weeks now to get the hell out of town to relax and "do" nothin. Yesterday that finally happened! I feel pretty good now, Yea!
I took a day trip up to Russian River with some friends + Luna the dog. We relaxed and played on the river's edge in the sun and had a picnic too. Then we moseyed into town for a delicious ice-cream treat before heading up to Grandma Bone's "treehouse" cabin for a visit. We hung out on the deck with a glass of wine & did a little smoking, while the kids went back to the river to do a little more swimming.
I hope I can get some more cabin time in before the summer is over! It is so wonderfully peaceful up there! Lucky Essac and Skye get to stay thru Friday (with their dad and half brother too).
