in my own little corner in my own little chair...
i'm in my own little world right now. i'm sitting in my big popason chair with the mosquito net around it, in the complete dark with the dogs shut out of the room. i'm going to start calling this room my happy room. i'm listening to slow-ish relaxy music (i took a cue from ashley & named the playlist relaxy taxi) and visiting all my favorite websites & catching up on other people's blogs, etc.
i had a not-so-great day, so maaaannnnn this is nice. also, on my way home i stopped by the cvs near our house on a whim and picked up a starbucks mocha frappuccino in a bottle, a diet dr. pepper, some pretty colorful pens, & a copy of allure magazine with the lovely & beautiful miss sarah jessica parker on the cover. love. <3
oops. willy just came in and interrupted my solitude. but that's okay. i'm glad he's home. :)
ashley, katie, & i have discovered listography.com, where we can do our favorite thing: make lists! you should most definitely check it out if you are a list connosieur like we three. if you just want to check mine out, the address is http://listography.com/tiffy. it's much fun. you can add pictures relevant to your lists & stuff. and it will even generate a list topic for you if you want it to.
i'm so glad i'm back to blogging more lately & put it as one of my 100 challenges. oh, my new glasses arrived today! i picked them up this afternoon, & i have been wearing them ever since. i think they're pretty cute. my eyes are tired, though, from adjusting. on that subject, lola chewed up willy's BRAND NEW glasses this morning. she is in big trouble mister.
after my not-so-great start to my day, i got a lead for a listing presentation. i went to it at 4pm. the couple were very nice, & they had the cutest baby boy. he had chubby cheeks & sticky-up hair. adorable! they had made the house so nice. they put dark hardwood floors in it & painted the trim & fireplace white, and the walls a pretty blue. it reminded me of a cottage by the sea. i really hope i get to list it. they will find out soon whether they have to move in march or october (he's in the navy). so hopefully they will call me to list it!
also, when i was on my way to the listing presentation, an agent from the mt. pleasant office called me & asked if i'd like to do a few open houses for him in the moncks corner/goose creek area. i said sure. then he told me that it's new construction, & i'd actually be sitting on site at foxbank plantation on the weekend. how cool is that? i'd be like an on-site agent (the ones who sit in the model homes when you go see new homes) but only on a few weekends here & there. so that's exciting. the best part is that my broker recommended that the other agent call me. what a great compliment. i love her muchly.
also, i realized that i haven't mentioned yet that we are no longer coldwell banker coastal properties! as of last week, we merged with coldwell banker united, realtors. it's a good thing! they have so many extraordinairy resources & stuff. plus, they gave us a goody bag with a travel coffee mug, a leather portfolio, a pen/letter opener set, and a bunch of info on the company. it's a busybusy time in our office right now.
alrighty, willy & i are going to see if mom & dad want to get chinese for dinner, so i have to make a couple of phone calls now. ;)
