Sticky Post

This journal used to have another name. It was aggressively wanked and trolled and I renamed it and dropped my flist and communities so that I could resubscribe only to the communities and people that I like. This journal is now Friends Only.

I've moved to Dreamwidth, and that's where most of my posts are. All of my old posts here are locked. I use this journal to cross-post so that people who aren't on DW can still read me, but you have to comment on DW. I also read my non-DW-using friends list, comment on entries, and belong to communities here.

Because LJ, unlike DW, requires that I grant access to my locked posts to anyone I want to keep on my reading list, for security reasons I will not add "reader" journals with no entries or identifying personal information; I only add people I know and trust.

How to get unscreened commenting privileges on my DW journal, if you don't have or want a DW journal, but are someone that I trust enough to give them to here:

Click here while you are logged into LJ in another tab or window. Register an email address to go with your OpenID after you log in (it will tell you how) and upload your 6 free icons, if you want to. Then subscribe to my journal and grant me access if you want access. If I know and trust you, you'll get access.

Comments on this post are screened. If you want me to add you and you don't think I'll recognise your journal name, please comment and tell me who you are and where I know you from.

IMPORTANT ETA: Lately, I've been getting at least 5 "new friend" notifications in my email every day saying that someone on LJ has added me as a friend, and 95% of the time it turns out to be a Russian account I've never heard of that was created less than a week ago. So I'm turning those notifications OFF.

If, however, you are one of the 5% who is friending me because of comments I've made or you're a lolita and like what I say on lolita comms, you should know two things.

1) I only post on Dreamwidth, so if you want to read my personal posts, you should register an Open ID/DW account and subscribe to me there. I don't trust LJ with my private thoughts.

2) I won't know you friended me on LJ unless you TELL me. If you want me to include your journal in my LJ reading list, you'd better PM me or comment, or I will never ever know.
