Oh, is today a holiday?
Happy Fourth! Whether you love this country or not, you have to admit, a day off work is never bad. Unless you work retail, in which case there is no such thing as having a day off for a holiday.
It looks like it's about to rain any minute here, which makes me laugh at all the idiots at the grocery store just now. Mom ran out of stuff for her queso dip, so I popped over thinking I'd be in and out with the stuff she forgot. But nooo, there were approximately 6342325793583 people in the store, all of them bitching about the long lines. Um, if you hadn't waited until ten minutes before your cookout, maybe it wouldn't be a problem? We're not cooking outdoors, so I laugh, LAUGH, I tell you. It's gotten cloudy and grey all of a sudden, and looks like rain for sure.
I need to, er.. call my friends. All two of them. I've been promising you, beibei, that I'd watch Doctor Who with you, if you're still interested. I need to suck it up and buy the series 1 boxset for myself. I was planning on burning you season one and season two, as soon as it finishes airing, if you'd like? They'd be recorded-off-TV-quality, but they're still pretty good considering. Anyway, I have free time in the afternoons until four/five-ish this week, so let me know.
Was thinking about calling Eric last night/today, but wasn't sure if that'd be awkward. We've hung out together before, just the two of us, but it was always with the context of school in the background, y'know? Like having lunch between classes. I'm not sure if it'd be weird to ask him to hang out with just me right now. Does that make any sense? And I always feel like I'm bothering him when I call him. Or something. I'm not sure.
Oh well. On the plus side, rain! I'll be surprised if it doesn't rain today. My allergies would certainly appreciate if it did, though.
