Addicted
Holy crap. I haven't made an update in months. But I've been busy...you know...graduating and all of that. lol
Somehow, in some way, I managed to get a 4.0 this semster. A 4.0!!! I don't know how the hell it happened, but it did. *falls over dead* After an all day graduation Saturday, I have been nothing but tired. At least I finally have some time to relax...a little bit. I'm working on applications to graduate school. Baylor has sucked the life out of me. If I had know how much hell I'd be going through with loans, I would have transferred sooner. Not that I have an issue with the school iteself, just the financial aid, housing, and bureaucracy of the school.
So what have I been doing since I last made a post? Keeping up with school work and trying to pass classes. It was hard this last semester. All that bs i heard about Senior being great was a lie. On the upside, it's all done and over with. But I'm ready to move out of my house. lol
Graduation was a bore. Our keynote speaker was Dr. Korpi, but he couldn't make it because he was at E3. Lucky!!! >_< So graduation was 10 minutes shorter than usual, but still loooooong. They changed up the order this year. We were grouped by our Degree (BA, BFA, etc.), Major, and then last name, all in alphabetical order. So, I was at the very last of the pack. But it was ok. I got to sit with everyone I knew in the Telecomm department and we were playing our DS'es since we know we would be last in line. XD It was fun. I didn't listen to any of the speeches, because they were making everyone else in the audience (and the graduates) sleepy. My dad even nodded off for a few minutes. But at least all of us in the back row had fun. I didn't even get my diploma. :( Stupid honors. lol
Other than, I've been trying to relax and have a tiny bit of fun mixed in with the work of applying to graduate school. Must push off loans for a few more years. >_< Think I'll go for a doctoral degree though. It's the only chance I'll ever have at being called Dr. and that's not such a bad thing. lol
