A lot to talk about...
I know I haven't posted to this in a long time, as that usually seems to be the case as far as livejournal is concerned. I know that there are some friends on here that don't have myspace and stuff, so I figured I'd actually update this for once, lol. For those who don't know, I am no longer in Chicago. As much as I loved it up there, I decided to leave, and come back when I could live there on my own terms. I moved back to Decatur for now, where the cost of living is much better, and I am now enrolled in school again. I took my admissions exams two days ago, and passed both of the written just two points short of perfect in math, and just three points short of perfect in reading/comp. I am now officially in school to become a registered nurse with an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences. The best part is that Decatur Memorial Hospital is going to employ me the whole time I am in school. So I am very happy, and very content with what I am doing right now. Travis and I are back together as well and have been for a little over a month now, and he is moving in with me here in less than two weeks. It's hard to believe that him and I met almost a year ago now. I can't wait for us to be here together again. I love him so much. My relationship with my family has substantially improved, and my Mom and I had a long talk about a week ago. It was like for the first time we actually heard what the other had to say, and we have been spending a lot of time together since then. It's almost been as good as it was before I came out, and for me to be able to say that is a miracle. She even told me that if and when I get married she will consider attending it. Anyone who knows me knows what a HUGE step that is for her. All in all things are going very well. I have not seen a week this good in a long time. I will continue to keep you posted as I am in school, and hopefully will see some of you very soon. ^_^
