The terrifying storms that struck the south last week hit (literally) way too close to home for at least one very good friend of mine, and helpthesouth is starting up a fic, art and just about anything else you can think of donation site.
My thread is here . I'm offering fic if anyone wants to offer up a bid. The devastation is incredible and every little bit helps. There are also links at the site to the Red Cross and other relief organizations.
