How do you use LJ?: most of my friends have left and i just want a little more interaction
Do you comment?: yes, and i try to respond immediately. before my bf asked for a break, i disappeared every now and again. now, i've been active daily because i need something to do other than be in my own thoughts.
What kind of LJ friends are you looking for?: likeminded people (see "what i'm passionate about" above and "anything else" below), people who don't do friend cuts, and people who aren't concerned about not getting a timely response
Returnees -- What have you missed about LJ?: i have been active on tumblr and twitter, but i miss the format and personal-ness(?) of livejournal. i still like tumblr and twitter and will still be there. it's just easier not to doomscroll here.
Anything else?: please ignore my older posts; a lot of what i said when i was a teenager/young adult, i do not agree with now. i don't want people to add me because we have differing opinions and/or they want me to educate them on social justice issues. i don't want my personal space to become someone else's on-demand tutoring/debate class. i also don't want people to add me who aren't willing to unpack their social prejudices when called out on it and won't act defensively (as i will do the same; we're all learning and unlearning). people who call that "nitpicky" or "getting easily offended" can stew in their ignorance and stay away from me. lastly, if harry potter is still a big part of your life despite everything rowling has said/done, don't add me please.
