It didn't end up where I thought it would, either. My writing brain seems to sever itself from my better judgment when it gets past 2AM. Or perhaps it connects for the first time...! XD

(I think you're right, though; for some reason I write fic and original things slightly differently. I can't even quantify what the difference is in my head right now, though that's more a discredit to my current head than to the conclusion. XD)

Thank you; I'm glad! :D Originally I was actually going to kill Ben off, and then I was like, "Why would I do that? It's totally unnecessary!" and am very glad I changed my mind. XD
