Ah, Raid....complete with its swishing red cape of manliness xD I have come to the shocking realisation the effectiveness of Raid comes down to how much aiming skill you have....it took me 15 minutes, a third of a bottle of Raid, and lots of girly squealing to kill a spider that was no bigger than the tip of my pinkie. Cos, of course, I couldn't have just squashed it with a tissue or anything...:D

I think I might just have to print this fic out and frame it or something, cos I laughed the whole way through. The tone you write with is just so irresistably funny that it will have no trouble reminding me how to laugh when i'm in the mood for wallowing in my own self-pity, and similar pastimes :P

I've never actually used Raid; my silverfish battles involved cardboard and a lot of terrified squealing, myself! XD

Spiders are so scary, though...! XD I suck at killing them, too. :P
