beautiful. just...beautiful. This fic is what I imagine was running thru the artist's head when they drew this pic. I especially liked the last two lines - It’s starting to lose the smell. He’s starting to lose his mind. It's always been my headcanon that Ed in our world would go mad sooner rather than later. If he actually did have Roy's jacket, it would just push him to the brink, and maybe beyond the brink, of sanity that much sooner. :(

I 100% subscribe to the idea that Ed would have a lot of trouble distinguishing reality when the whole fabric of his universe had changed. I find the whole concept beautiful and tragic and fascinating. :c

P.S. I hope you don't think I'm ignoring your comment on the other entry! I'm totally down; I just… have been meaning to reply properly but am swamped and constantly tired, haha. And also dumb. Very dumb. X'D
